Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 18, 2026
The short version. We collect a small amount of personal information, mainly business contact details and the technical information needed to run our website and the Insights Pro platform.
We use it to respond to you, provide our services and keep them secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Farm, financial and operational data our customers load into Insights Pro belongs to them, and we handle it only as our customer agreements allow.
1. Who we are and what this notice covers
Lighthouse.ag Technologies Inc. (“Lighthouse,” “we,” “us”) is based in Salinas, California. We provide Insights Pro, a farmland portfolio intelligence platform, and related advisory services.
This notice explains how we handle personal information when you:
- visit lighthouse.ag (the “Website”);
- use the Insights Pro platform at insight.lighthouse.ag (the “Platform”); or
- otherwise communicate or do business with us, for example at events or by email.
Customer data. When our customers load their data into the Platform, we process it on their behalf and under our written agreements with them. That data may include farm records, financials and operator information, and it can include contact details of people who work with those customers. Questions about it are best directed to the customer organization that provided it. We will help that organization respond.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and inquiry details: your name, work email, company and message when you book a walkthrough, subscribe to Field Notes or email us.
- Account details: your name, business email, role and organization when your organization gives you access to the Platform.
- Communications: the content of emails, calls and meetings with us.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and log data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and timestamps, collected by our hosting providers when you visit the Website or Platform.
- Platform usage data: sign-ins, features used, and performance and error data, used to operate, secure and improve the Platform.
- Cookies: the Website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The Platform uses cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure.
- Email engagement: our newsletter and marketing emails may tell us whether a message was opened or a link was clicked.
- Third-party content: the Website loads some content, such as fonts, from third-party providers. Those providers receive your IP address when your browser requests the content.
Information from other sources
- Business contact information from public sources, professional networks such as LinkedIn, industry events and referrals, which we use for business outreach.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule walkthroughs.
- To provide, maintain, secure and support the Platform.
- To send Field Notes and other business communications you can opt out of at any time.
- To understand and improve the Website, the Platform and our services.
- To protect our rights and our users, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as cloud hosting, website, email, customer-relationship management, analytics, communication and data-processing providers. They may use it only to provide services to us, and they are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
- Within Lighthouse: with our team members and affiliates who need it for their work.
- With your organization, if you use the Platform through its account.
- For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety and security.
- In a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this notice.
- With your consent.
5. Your choices and rights
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep information we are legally required or permitted to keep.
- Platform accounts are managed by your organization. Some requests may need to go through them.
- Do Not Track: the Website does not track you across third-party websites, and it does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, Global Privacy Control signals do not change how we handle your information.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above:
- Contact details are kept while we have a business relationship or until you ask us to delete them.
- Platform account data is kept for the duration of your organization’s subscription.
- Some information is kept longer where the law requires it.
8. International use
We are based in the United States, and our systems are hosted in the United States. Members of our team in other countries, including Israel and Peru, may access information to do their work. They are bound by confidentiality obligations.
9. Children
Our Website and Platform are business services and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. If the changes are material, we will also notify Platform users through the Platform or by email.
